About this series
Salt & Lantern is an original fantasy manga written and drawn by Rin Aoki. It follows Mio, a fifteen-year-old lighthouse keeper's apprentice, as she discovers that the kingdom beneath the bay is not as dead as her village believes.
The series mixes quiet slice-of-life moments in a small fishing town with exploration of a flooded city full of strange markets, singing bells and people who remember the world before the tide rose. Each chapter is drawn by hand and released weekly on Mondays.
